Run

Our second-longest running route is truly challenging! Besides the long distance, you'll also conquer a significant amount of elevation gain. After turning into the forest after Bertsdorf train station, you'll reach Hanischmühe, a district of Jonsdorf, via Bleichenweg. Behind the ice rink and the butterfly house in Jonsdorf, you'll run across the parking lot on Quarksteinweg and Buchbergweg to Christel's Corner in the direction of Waltersdorf. Schneider's Feldweg leads past the Sorgeteich pond near Neu Sorge and continues steeply uphill along Eisgasse until you reach the ridge path on the Lausche ridge. Follow this path towards Lausche and from the highest point of the route, you'll pass Lauscheborn, the Hubertusbaude inn, and the Rübezahlbaude inn on Hohlsteinweg towards Jonsdorf. Shortly before Hohlstein, however, you'll turn right to Falkenstein. Via Flügelweg, you'll reach Kroatzbeerwinkel in Jonsdorf and the former Kittschuppen, now the clubhouse of PSV-Zittau. From here, the route climbs uphill past the ski slope and the Schwarze Pfütze (Black Puddle) to the Stern (Star), where you join the 17 km route and follow it to Scharfenstein. From Scharfenstein, however, you'll take a short loop via Schleiferbuchenweg and Olbersdorfer Flügelweg before reaching Teufelsmühle (Devil's Mill), just like the 17 km runners. From there, the route leads back to the finish line at the Olbersdorf sports field via Niederoybin train station.
